Other Information

 

  1. Is it safe to clean my clothing at the cleaners? Yes! Dry cleaning is effective in killing viruses on clothing. We have also made several changes to the way we transact in-store to reduce contact. We’ve installed clear protection shields in all stores. Staff also will wear gloves and a mask at all times.   2. Where can I find the most up-to-date information on my store?   All updates will also be available and posted on Google, our website, and on our social media sites. 
  3. Do you offer pickup and delivery? Although Rick’s does not have a pick-up and delivery option, our sister company, Ian’s Cleaners, offers free pick up and delivery to your home. They offer full-service laundry, dry cleaning, and a wash/dry/fold option (replaces “at-home” laundry) for $1.99/lb.  In addition to reducing contact, it is an incredibly convenient service. Orders can be placed online 24/7.

Curbside Service Pick Up & Drop Off

Would you like us to bring your order to your car? Simply give us a call. We can also collect drop-offs from your vehicle.

How it Works

 

If you do not wish to come inside:

 

  1. Call your Rick’s Location once you’ve arrived.
  2. Ask our staff for curbside assistance with your pick up or drop off.
  3. Pay at drop off.
    (Please note: we recommend placing your card on file with our staff to expedite the payment process for future transactions and reduce germs that can be passed by touching credit cards)
  4. Your Order will be delivered to/from your car.

 

Tips to Reduce Drop-off Time

 

  1. Have items ready inside of a bag to provide to our staff when they approach your vehicle. They will use this to transport items inside of our store and will return it after invoicing your clothing.
    1. Alternative Option: We sell red Rick’s Laundry Bags in our store for $5.99 that are great to “drop-and-go” with your order. With a card on file and a laundry bag to leave with your order you can pull up to our store, drop off the bag, and be on your way in less than 30 seconds.

Because of You.

Gratitude and a simple thank you go a long way. We hear it as we open the door for a stranger. We see it with a smile when someone does the unexpected. We feel it with a hug or handshake. Gratitude is well deserved, and comes from the heart.

My dad Rick started this cleaners over 30 years ago with his first store on Burnet Road next to TacoDeli. He was young, driven, and didn’t have any grey hair yet. He knew that hard work and providing affordable dry cleaning to our city was the recipe to making it in this town. Thanks to you Rick’s has been able to grow to 16 locations around Austin. Never sold to investors. Never franchised. We are an Austin born family and team who work hard together every day to build something strong and resilient.

This year we’re honored to advance to the final round of Austin Chronicle’s “Best Of” Award (vote for us!). You’ve put a big smile and sense of accomplishment on the faces of our team. We owe it all to our employees and most importantly you.
